Front load washer small leak in front

Many customers have lately reported having small leak in frontloader. What I have found now many times is that is an issue with the seal on your door. This rubber gasket must have a complete seal on glass in order to not leak. Often times there may be a tear in the seal or a chunk tore out of edge of seal. Be sure to look carefully before calling technician. Also make sure if you have pets especially dogs or horses that you do not have hair build up on glass in door. This will allow water to seep past the seal and guess what you have a small leak. Simply clean the glass completely and the leak should be taken care of. I had on yesterday that looked as if a towel had been closed in door seal. This caused it to pull hard when in spin which pulled seal off and damaged the seal as well. If there is a tear, chunk in edge or a ripple that does not allow it to seal on glass it will need to be replaced. Please call us and we can repair for you.
Thanks Roger

My washer used to leak and I could never figure out why until I caught my puppy chewing on the rubber seal. Good advice.

Funny enough, we also had a puppy that liked to chew on the rubber parts of some of our major appliances. Sneaky thing.

These tips are great though! Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks for reminding me to check on pet hair or build up in the front door that might cause the seal to loosen up. Our washer starts to create small leaks in front. It's best for me to check it first. In case, it's not something that I can resolve then I might call a washer technician right away.

Making your own washer repair may sound like a great way to save money but that's not always the case. There are a lot of parts to a washing machine and they can vary quite a bit from one washer to another. Though there are some simple washer repair things you can check on your own like making sure the plug is actually plugged in or if the circuit breaker has been tripped. There are many more complex things to diagnose that really do require the expertise of a professional.

Whilst a lot of people still tend to wash a lot of their dishes by hand, this is becoming less and less frequent. The reality is that over the years, dishwashers have been developed more and more, to a point now where they can actually do a much better job than any human. Not only that, but the fact is that by using a dishwasher, consumers can save a lot of time, something which is becoming even more precious by the day.
