I just yesterday had a customer that called and thought her belt had broke in her dryer. When I went to look into this I found that the motor was bound up. So as I proceeded to look into the issue I took apart the back of her dryer and found a dead bird fell out of dryer vent. Then I found a small rabbit had gotten into the blower motor and got killed. This is why it was bound up. Needless to say the vent she had was an old aluminum one and would not close any more. So I installed a new one with a cage to keep the critters from climbing inside. This would be good for all of our customers to check that their vents are critter proof. Have a great day!!
